Apostle Barnes is a man that is committed to winning people to Christ and equipping them for the work of the ministry.
In 2003, he pioneered his first church in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, and in 2006, God directed him to Opelika, Alabama, with the assignment to establish and plant a church there.
He is credited with establishing Church on The Rock in Dadeville, Alabama and founding and overseeing Mustard Seed Faith Center Ministries in Opelika, Alabama--one of the fastest growing churches in the Opelika region.
Apostle Barnes comes with much experience. He is a graduate of Penn State Geisinger Health System, where he successfully completed the Clinical Pastoral Education Residential Program (CPE); a graduate of Chesapeake Bible College and Seminary, with a Bachelor of Christian Ministry degree; a graduate of Rhema Bible Training College, with a diploma in pastoral ministry; a graduate of the University of Maryland, with an Associate of Arts degree in education; and he received several other certificates in Christian ministry.
